Rental Terms & Conditions

By renting a vehicle from Jax Exotics, you ("Renter") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully, as they govern your rental agreement with Jax Exotics ("Company," "we," or "us").

1. Rental Requirements

Age Requirement: The Renter must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Driving Record: The Renter must have a clean driving record, free of major violations.
Insurance: The Renter is required to provide proof of valid auto insurance or purchase insurance coverage offered by Jax Exotics.
Payment: A valid credit or debit card is required for all rentals, and payment must be made in full before taking possession of the vehicle.

2. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. This deposit will be held to cover any damages, fees, or additional charges incurred during the rental period.
The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented, less any applicable deductions.

3. Use of the Vehicle

Authorized Drivers: Only individuals listed in the rental agreement are authorized to drive the vehicle.
Prohibited Uses: The vehicle may not be used for any illegal activities, off-road driving, racing, towing, or transporting illegal substances.
Mileage Limit: Rentals come with a mileage limit. Excess mileage will be charged at a rate of $2 per mile.

4. Vehicle Condition and Damage

Inspection: The vehicle’s condition will be documented before and after the rental. Any pre-existing damages will be noted at check-out, and the vehicle must be returned in the same condition.
Damage Responsibility: The Renter is responsible for any damage incurred during the rental period, regardless of fault, and will be charged for repairs or replacement costs as necessary.
Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee may be applied if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty or with signs of smoking inside.

5. Late Returns

Return Time: Vehicles must be returned by the scheduled time to avoid additional charges. Late returns are subject to a fee of $50per hour.
Extension Requests: If you need to extend your rental period, please contact Jax Exotics as soon as possible. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and additional charges.

6. Cancellation Policy

A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled rental time.
A partial refund will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled rental time.
No refunds are available once the vehicle has left our lot.

7. Insurance and Liability

Insurance Coverage: Renter is required to carry insurance that covers rental vehicles. Additional insurance options are available for purchase at the time of booking.
Liability: The Renter is fully liable for all damages, loss, and injuries sustained while the vehicle is in their possession, including any legal fees and costs.

8. Privacy and Personal Information

By renting with Jax Exotics, you consent to our collection and use of personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement will be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of [State].

10. Modifications to Terms

Jax Exotics reserves the right to modify these rental terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and it is the Renter's responsibility to review these terms regularly.
